OLYMPIC INFORMATION                                                                        2014. 2. 28

Sochi Olympic was end in last week. Of course I watched it in my home, and I enjoined every sport. In Japan, we noticed on figure skating. There is genius skating player name is Mao Asada, and we were paying attention to her performance. She has a good rival, Kim Yona. She is korean and got gold award in Vancouver Olympic. Asada got silver award, so she said she will win to Kim Yona, but her dream didn't come true.

 

 

It was sunny day. Asada was very nervous for playing her last game. Last game?? Yeah, before Sochi Olympic, she said she will retire after Olympic. So this is last big game for her. And same as Kim Yona. She said she will retire too. They were nervous although they had big confidence. Everyday, media report their hard working, and Japanese hope let Asada get gold medal. Before short program, every skater have 6 minutes to practice and final check for their skill. Asada do totally perfect jump at practice time, but at she unsuccessful all jump during perfomance. She was 16 place. Say what?! She can't even take less than 10 place. Ohh my god. Everyone despaired to her. I was supported her. I knew she can do her best in free proglam. Free proglam was totally her last big perfomance. Can she do her best?

 

 

142. That was her score at free proglam. This score is her best free proglam score. She didn't ever got that much mark. She successed all jump, even it is very difficult jump. She didn't give up. She is positive. After her perfomance, she was crying. It was not because she felt regret. She shed tear of joy and happiness!! Japanese had a brave and power from her skating and her tear.

 

Total place of Asada was 6, and Kim Yona was 2. She can't won to Kim Yona, and even can't got a medal. But she said " Through this play, I found a more important thing than gold medal. It was my perfect skating. I was searched all over my skating life, but I can't achieve my perfect skating although I can found it this time. " Her brave saying will be handed down ever.

 

Brave people always don't give up. Never give up. Asada is totally brave and perfect perfomer and skating player.
