Yesterday, our summer school students went to Tokyo Sea Life Park and had many fun. The place, Kasai Linkai Park is close to Odaiba, and it was really close from Osaki.
Kasai Linkai Park has aquarium, and many fish are living there. Some of them were really rare. I enjoyed some places. We touched shark. It was precious experience. First, when I touched sharks, it was really disgusting because its body was slippery. I had never touched alive fish before, so I was bit nervous. Even though it was really precious. We also saw many fish. Bluefin tunas, sharks, penguins, tropical fish etc. Those were really interesting. The fish that I think the most interesting and funny was hairtaila scabbard (below picture). First I thought it was some sticks and it looked weird. But afterward, I noticed that was creature, and I learned it is called "HAIRTALIA SCABBARD". I had never heard this name before. They have straight back, and it really looks something like sword or stick. Japanese call it "Tachi uo". Tachi means sword, and Uo is sort of fish. I thought that's why Japanese people call this fish, "Tachi uo". Anyway, it was amazing.
Before lunch, we went to theater and heard some knowledge about Tuna from caretaker in aquarium. She couldn't speak English, so she explained in Japanese, but I could understand. She gave us many amazing knowledge about Tuna. The most amazing thing about Tuna that I heard yesterday was, the biggest Tuna could grow up to over 3 meter. But, when they were egg, it was just 1 millimeter!! I couldn't imagine creature could grow up so fast in several years.
During lunch my classmates and I ate together, and after, we played some poker games. It was fun, and I didn't lose. We all had fun yesterday in aquarium and it was nice day.
I would like to go Sinrin Park next time. It is in Saitama prefecture, and it is far from Osaki, but we can have many funs in there. We can cycle for 3 hours, we can enjoy many funny and interesting attraction. Also, there are spaces for Barbecue, and of course, we can enjoy it as well. Sinrin Park is proud of area65 times as large as Tokyo dome.
That was 5 years ago, when I was g5, I went to England with my g5 classmates. That was the school training trip, and almost g5 students attended to this trip. I had never been Europe countries before, so I was so excited. But also I had a little bit angst because I had never been that country and I was afraid about friends. Even I was going with my classmates, but in the UK, we had 2 weeks to stay there, and I needed to take class with non-Japanese people. That time, I couldn't speak English very well, so I was so nervous.
During England trip, I was staying in dormitory with my Japanese students. Even though, our next room, there were two foreigner students. Their name is Tom and Mike. They both from America. They are so positive and very active. Even it was midnight, they turn on the lady gaga music and dance through all night. Because of that, our Japanese students must spent pain night. I used to think everyone hates them. And actually me too.
Unfortunately, I was same class with those two guys. They were so noisy at class either, even they didn't sleep all night. I was wondering how can they be so noisy and active. If I were them, absolutely I will fall in to sleep, if I woke up all night. In my class, there were just 10 people. 3 Korean, 2 American 1 from Brazil, 2 from France, 1 from Hong Kong, and me. I couldn't enjoy the class, and concentrate what we were learning. Students were so noisy, and even my teacher, Ms. K said "shut up!!!", but they didn't care. After few days, Ms. K quit our class. I demanded to other teacher to move to other class, but they didn't allow it.
Most of my Japanese students had a peace class. I was so jealous. Next day, new teacher Mr. C came in and say them to "be quiet!". But as well as Ms. K class, they didn't listen. My anger through the throat. And suddenly I said "shut up you guys, can you here teacher voice?" Class became quiet for a moment. Then Tom apologized to Mr. C, and said to me, you are courage man."
Afterwards, we became good friends. They knew a little Japanese, and I sometimes taught them. We stayed 2 weeks at England, and we went to amusement park, pool, challenge to haunted house. We had very funny time.
2 weeks went over so fast. I had never used English before, but that time, I had a little bit confidence. Because out friend relationship demonstrate, I did conversation with them using English.
My English was awful. But I used jesters, and told them what I want to say. They understood me.
As my conclusion, I want to say, nationality or identity doesn't meter to make friends. We all can be good friends. That's what I learned in England.

Reading -summer school- Hi, guys! I would like to talk about my favorite book which I am reading now. The title of that book is "I AM MALALA". This book is written by Malala Yousafzai who is the still girl but who is demanding for women's right. This book is an autobiography about her self. I think she gave title "I AM MALALA" to this book, because she really wanted to emphasis her name and her existence. So I think this title is very good and appropriate title. First, if you don't know who is Malala, then you totally can't understand this book. Malala is the girl who always demanding for women's absolute right and authority. Because of her big social movement, she had been shot by Taliban who are criticizing for women's right. Even though, she is still working for demanding their right. This book is absolutely non-fiction story, because Malala is writing an autobiography. And also she is writing from her perspective. To be detail, this book is love story between family, and many conflicts appear on this book and she and her father or friends are trying to solve to those sort of problem. Malala met many problems and incidents so far. First of all, she suffered for prejudice of women. But she never gave up. She behave as fair and square. The most interesting part is conflict between Malala and her peer. Both of them did want to win on poem compete. And both of them are very well to read poem. So they were rival. They expressed their emotion or feeling on thier poems. It was a single-game match. They had given just once chance. Like it or not, chance is once, so they needed to read poem very carefully and they couldn't leave any regret. I'm reading exactly middle part of this book, and I've learned many good thing from it.

Hi, guys. Have you ever seen a movie "Frozen"? Frozen is a movie made by Disney, and it was opened the public in over 25 countries. It became a very famous movie, and it started being fashion over the world. Reason that Frozen became so famous and popular is because of the song "Let it go". So basically what was that movie about, and why did "Let it go" became famous?
This movie is animation movie which made by Disney. It has 3D and 2D version, and I enjoyed both. Both were really good, but especially 3D version had more scale, so I like it more than 2D. It is the first time that Disney made two main characters of princess, Anna and Elsa. This story was based on the book "The snow queen" made by author Hans Christian Andersen. But Disney changed main characters, setting and era. This movie takes place in unknown country, which controlled by two princess Anna and Elsa. Anna is young sister, and has very cheerful personality. She looks thing very positive. But opposite from her, Elsa who is Anna's old sister has negative view. Because she has a big problem with her body. When she touch something, it will be froze, and she was really afraid to doing that, because she touched her sister Anna, when she was childhood, and Anna's heart was almost being freeze, and it was sad disaster. That was the trauma of Elsa, and she always shut the door, and never came out. Anna really wanted to play with her and build a snowman, but she refused. But one day, Elsa must to tell her identity and came out from her room for some reasons. But she was so afraid to that, and she froze the whole entire country.
Well, I can't say the reason, because I don't want to material of this story, but this movie describes relationship between two sisters and lovers. Anna must help Elsa, and she decided to go to trip to help her sister. The scale of that trip was so amazing. Disney used many effort and the movie was really high quality.
Anna will meet many incidents and she will fight with some monsters, but she never give up, because she was really wanted to help her sister.
During her journey to help her sister, she will meet two men. Both of them look like very nice and gentlemen, but at last she will meet big betrayal by one of them. Actually this part gave me tears. Her heart become froze because of that betrayal. This story tell us and let us think about "What is the real love?".
Through this whole story, many people feel same emotion and filling with her. So that's why this movie generate a reaction in every area. Even setting or plot is difference with our world, but main cahracters are very similar to us, and really obedient even though they carry suffering to all around just like most of us in this real world. Also as I said in first paragraph, the song, "let it go" was making contribution to this movie. This song is the main reason that Frozen became popular. Here is lyrics of Let it go ↓

This song is sang by Elsa who is Anna's sister. As you can see from this lyrics, it describes her emotion which is sad, upset and freedom. What happened to Elsa? What made Elsa to sing this song? Why Elsa would became so upset? Why was Elsa demanding for freedom? This 4 questions are most interesting and important parts of
story.
this movie.
And at last, climax became so amazing which you wouldn't expect. Maybe you will cry if you know the end with big screen. Anyway this story was so unbelievable (as good meaning) and I felt many emotions and feeling through my body, mind and heart.
Even though many people who saw Frozen criticize about it. Some of them said "Not content of story attract people. But that song, "let it go" is attracting people. It is mean less. This movie couldn't be bad poison but also it couldn't be good medicine."
As my opinion I think this movie is good and wonderful which I wrote reason in this post, and I suggest people to watch this movie.
Hi, guys. Today, I would like to talk about topic which Mr. Malvern gave us, "What are the advantages and the difficulties or disadvantage of speaking more than one language? And if you were parents, would you make your son or daughter learn another language? Why or why not?" That sound very long topic. But I'm in the international school, and if I speak English perfectly in the near future, then I can speak 3 languages. So this topic does relate to me very much.
First, if you think what is the advantages of speaking more than on language, then obviously people might think, that will be helpful in the future. Because now, social is going forward to "Global", and people speak with foreigner in foreign languages. If you can't speak more than one language, you will feel really hard to speak with foreigner, and feel shame. Also, now it doesn't matter which countries, many companies is doing personal recruitment who can speak foreign language in order to make one's company going to global society. If you have dream to get into a good company, then you must to speak more than one language, because there are many people from many countries are gathering together and you must to communicate with them.
I couldn't think disadvantage of speaking more than one language because it is really helpful for all people who are living in this world. But if you think difficulty of it, then I could figure out what is that. If you learn second language after you speak first language perfectly, then you might feel stress on second language. Because each languages has different rule of grammar, different vocabulary, and different way to conversation. For example if English speaker say "No way!" to Japanese speaker who can't speak English, then they might confuse at what does "No way" mean. They might think that as "There is no way to avoid that.", but actually English speaker use it as sort of "What the heck?!" or "Is it true, are you sure?". So, as you know, many people who learn second language might think difficulty to learn about that.
If I were parent I absolutely make my children learn another language. If I were live in America or English speak country with my wife and children, I make them learn Japanese and Chinese. Three countries, America (English speak country), Japan, China is most improving their economic and GDP, so if you master those three languages, you will not bother in the future. In America, many rich Chinese men is isolating there, and if you speak Chinese, you will find many big opportunities to be a success man. That's why I make my children to learn Chinese. Reason I let my children learn Japanese is now Japanese government is starting to immigration from foreign language, so if you can speak Japanese in America, you might learn different culture, and it is very good for your experience. Also to learn Japanese culture is very good, because Japanese has very awesome culture, such as Chadou (tea), Kendou (sword), and hospitality. You might learn many good things from those wonderful cultures.
As I said in the second paragraph, to learn other language is hard for most people. Some people might don't want to receive other culture or languages, because they already got to familiar with their owns. But if you try hard, then you will absolutely be a success person in the global society.
Hi, guys. Today, I would like to talk about the topic, "how can we change our school, cis". I think this would be hard topic, because everyone has different opinion or complaint. Actually my summer school classmates, teachers, and I discussed about this topic yesterday, and many ideas were appearing. From now, I would like to talk about my opinion for this topic.
As you know, I used to go to Japanese private school for 8 years, and I came to cis last September. I was amazing because students are talking too much, and in the class, there are many discussions held on, and opinions flew back and forth. I think this class style is very good. We share each opinion, and take it as our knowledge. You might improve your studying skill or change your mind through discussion or debate. Although, I think we need a calm sometime. Maybe when you say your opinion, you will be excited and be emotional, and you might be noisy. That causes class be very uncomfortable, and we can't concentrate on the topic. Well, I'm not trying to say cis class style is bad, I meant that never happened in my formal Japanese school. In debate time, my classmates often don't really express their thinking or opinion and they are very calm, but somehow, their knowledge is higher than cis students. One reason I could think is they are very calm. Calm makes you to concentrate on the topic, and it's really good behavior for people. So I suggest to school teacher and students to calm down whenever you will be excited. That will make you smarter, and you absolutely can concentrate or focus on what do you want to do.
Next thing I think I want to change this school is relationship between teachers and students. In cis, teachers are very kind. So most students like to have their classes. Even though I've heard many bad words to some teachers from students. Because maybe they hate their classes or personality. (I didn't mean I hate teachers. I like them, because they always help me and I'm glad that I can learn from them.) But unfortunately some students have said bad words on chat or in front of them using foreign languages. It's so sad and disrespectful to teachers. When I heard that, I feel really bad, and it makes me upset. I think reason that students would say those words is because they don't know teachers very much. If that is your homeroom teacher, you might know their personality very well, because that homeroom teacher relate to you every day. But opposite from it, if it is art or music or physical education teacher, you might not know them really well, because you relate to them just once time in a week.
So, to amend that, I suggest school to make an opportunity to have conference between teachers and students. Teachers might suggest study, or, talk their experience when they were youth, or, have a funny conversation. Any topic is okay. That might help teachers and students' relationship be closer. Personally I hope this will hold, because I like to talk with teachers.
At last, I suggest school to make a gym. In older post on my blog, I wrote I am opposite to make a school gym. But I changed my mind. Still I don't like physical education, because it makes me stress. Even though, I've heard many students' opinion for whether make a school gym or not. Approximately over 80% students said they would like to. Maybe if school make a gym, students might be more active, and relationship between them-selves will absolutely be closer. Also, in other school (it doesn't matter public or private school) they have more time for physical education. Compare with them, our P.E class is much less than it, so if school put more effort on P.E, then students might be more happy. Personally I hate P.E, but look at school from education face, then school should make opportunities to let students be more active.
Those three were my opinion for today's topic. And I hope that will come true. Then school will be more comfortable than now, and it provides more good images for people.
