After World War 2, gradually, women increase their power. Women can vote, and work. There are women statesmen. They can rule a country. Discrimination problem between men and women seems improvement.
But in developing country, women are still suffering, even discrimination has improved. Most developing country are belonging in Africa region. In Africa, because of religion, most women don't have opportunity to advance in social. They must to do housework. Most of them can't even to do part-time-job.
In Nigeria, which is still developing country in Africa region, some girls are able to study at school.
But last week, they were suddenly overcome by fear.
In Africa, most people are belonging in Islam. Islam is very complicated. There many small group in Islam. The one of the small group have been called "Boko Haram". They hate Christianity, and American education style or women social met strong opposition from Boko Haram. There are no description about the person who had established this group, but now, the leader of this group have been put "a criminal on the wanted list" as national suspect.
So what they did is they kidnaped approximately 200 girl who is belonging in local school in Nigeria.
They declared that they are already start to sell some of the girl to foreign country as slave. For this declaration, America announced that it's extremely pitiful and regrettable. They decided to dispatch some military force to Nigeria.
The aim of Boko Haram kidnapped students is to demand to stop American education and women advance to social. Their policy is that men is the greatest people in the social, and women must to do housework. They also announced "Women is not supposed to advance to social. If President Obama doesn't change his thinking, then we will continue to sell those girl.".
The family of the girl who had been kidnapped by armament group, Boko Haram are filled by sad.
They are suspecting Nigeria government's deal. Because Nigeria military didn't go into action so fast. Reason is they were afraid to fight in the front, so they arrived spot very late.
I think, Boko Haram used those girl as an investment. Obviously, America or other leader of countries don't listen to Boko Haram's demanding if they don't kidnap girl.
But now, American government must to listen that Boko Haram are looking for.
So, it means girl has been used as investment, because it made Boko Haram's activity extend.
(I mean most people didn't know about Boko Haram before they kidnapped girl. We knew it after they made big incident.)
As you know, girl is still very pitiful. It seems prejudice or discrimination to girl was over, but actually, many girls are still bothered. So the problem that we need to solve from now, is that how can we totally abolish discrimination system.
