Have you ever heard word called "Omotenasi"? It's Japanese own word, but unfortunately, English doesn't have this word. Omotenashi is kind of service, but always it calls when people did perfect service to customer. Personally I like this word very much. Now, government is starting "Omotenasi Project" in order to prepare for 2020 TOKYO OLYMPIC.

In 2020 Tokyo Olympic, many sports player from other country will come to Japan. Also their supporter too. It means foreigner will gather in Tokyo, so government is trying to figure out "how can we make Tokyo for many foreigner?". Finally, they started "Omotenasi Project".

First, government changed traffic sign. Traffic sign is a sign which describe way or place. Most traffic sign are transcribed in a Roma-letter. Like this↓

Most foreigner (except some European) don't understand Rome-letter. And they are confusing where is that place when they come to Japan. So government changed most traffic sign to English letter to make foreigner understand it easily.

Secondly, many hotels or lager land introduced worker who can speak English. Until now, many worker couldn't correspondence request of foreigner customer very well.
It will cause decrease foreigner customer, so recently, many land or hotel introduced those worker who can speak English. So as you can know, now, in the world, people who can speak English will achieve success.



Also hotel thought out good point for "Omotenashi project". You know Japanese don't have rule of religion. So luckily we can eat anything unless you have allergy. Personally, I don't care religion, but in India or those country have severe rules of religion. For example, Islam can't eat pig or caw, and can't drink beer. So at Japan hotel or food chain developed menu for Islam.



Those project or service is very good and awesome. World is going to global day by day. I thing the assignment of youth of Japanese is "How to make Japan be global?"
"How can we learn from America or those global countries?".



Now, Japanese is trying to achieving their goal for "2020 Tokyo Olympic".
